[ Things to enjoy in the northern area and the west coast by Okinawa Airport Shuttle—airport express bus ]

Head straight to the northern area (Onna and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium) from Naha Airport. Have a more carefree stay in Okinawa!

We have a suggestion for you!!

Explore Okinawa by bus! You can head straight to the beautiful beaches on the west coast and to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (where giant whale sharks swim around) from Naha Airport and the larger Naha. We can assure you that it will be a relaxing, comfortable trip.

Hop on the red Okinawa Airport Shuttle and head on out!!

The newly operating Okinawa Airport Shuttle runs 25 times a day. This includes Resort Liners (which depart Naha Airport and arrive at Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa via Onna west coast) and Airport Liners (which go the other direction).

Look for red bus stops to hop on the red Okinawa Airport Shuttle.

The bus has a baggage compartment. And the bus itself is pretty spacious. The information screen and the announcements are in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean.

There will be a 10-minute bathroom break at Nabee Beach Mae going both directions.

It’s hard not to do the bus trip.

The Okinawan ocean is just breathtaking. The color constantly changes depending on the depth, time, weather, and seasons. You’ll never tire of looking at it.

In the area north of Onna, Okinawa Airport Shuttle goes on a scenic drive along the beautiful coast. It’s a perk of a bus ride that you get to have a vast view from the high seats.

Can’t fit everybody in a cab? Not a problem. The bus can take you all. And even if you’re exhausted from all the activities, just get on the bus and it will take you to where you need to be. A day trip north can be just that easy. That’s the convenience of express bus!

Why not stay in the northern area?

Okinawa Airport Shuttle goes through many tourist spots like Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Cape Manzamo, and Kariyushi Beach.

We recommend that you get accommodation in the Nago area if you want to thoroughly enjoy those spots.

Nago city has many tourist spots and parks, like Nago Castle Park, 21stCentury Forest Beach, and Nago Pineapple Park.

Nago to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is a 40-minute ride on the Resort Liner. And Nago to Kariyushi Beach and Nabee Beach is a 50 minute-ride on the Airport Liner. Nago is a great location.

You can also get to Minna Island, a popular croissant-shaped island with beautiful beaches. Get off the Okinawa Airport Liner at Motobu Kanko Kyokai Mae (Motobu Kariyushi Market), and walk for 6-7 minutes to the Toguchi Port, where you’ll find the ferry. They increase the number of ferries from July to mid-September, making it much easier to plan your trip.

Stay tuned for a travel experience using Okinawa Airport Shuttle, a newly operating limousine bus.
